supplementary requirements for fuse-links forthe protection of semiconductor devices -Sections l to : Examples of types of standardized fuse-links.
The following supplementary requirements apply to fuse-links having bolted connections,whose dimensions comply with the requirements given in figures 1(IB) and 2(IB) of this section.
7.1Mechanical design
The standardized dimensions of the fuse-links are given in figures 1(IB) and 2(IB).
Fuse-links with other fixing dimensions,for example elongated holes,longitudinal or crossslots, shall be agreed between manufacturer and user.
7.1.7Construction of a fuse-link
lf the fuse-links are provided with an indicator,then the position of the indicator has to beagreed between manufacturer and user.
The following supplementary requirements apply to fuse-links having flush end connectionswhose dimensions comply with the requirements given in figures 1(1IA). They have ratedcurrents up to 5 000 A and rated voltages up to 1 250 v a.c.
7.1Mechanical design
The standardized dimensions of the fuse-links are given in figures 1(IIA).
7.1.7Construction of a fuse-link
The fuse-links may have indicators and if they are fitted the standardized positions are shownin figures 1(IIA).
The following supplementary requirements apply to fuse-links having flush end connections,whose dimensions comply with the requirements given in figure 1 (liB) of this section. Theirrated voltages and currents are as follows:
-130 v or 150 v a.c. up to 6 000 A;
-250 v a.c. up to 4 500 A;
-6oo v a.c. up to 2 000 A.7.1 Mechanical design
The standardized dimensions of the fuse-links are given in figure 1 (IIB).
The following supplementary requirements apply to fuse-links having cylindrical contact capswhose dimensions comply with the requirements given in figure 1 (lA) of this section. Theirrated voltages and currents are as follows:
– 130 V or 150 V a.c. up to 60 A;
-6o0 v a.c. up to 30 A;
– 1 000 v a.c. up to 30 A.
7.1Mechanical design
The standardized dimensions of the fuse-links are given in figure 1 (IIIA).NOTE Dimensions of fuse-links having cylindrical contact caps are also standardized in-IEC 60269-2-1 section lll:
sizes10 × 38
14 ×5122×58
-IEC 60269-2-1 section v.
