The connection point shall be tested as follows:
— static test according to EN 1459-1:2017+A1 :2020 .5.3.2 or according to EN 1459-2:201 5.Al :2018, 5.3.2 as applicable, using the maximum rated load lifting capacity of the truck at the connection point instead o(Qi, Q2 nd Q3;
— dynamic test according to 5.2. using the maximum rated load lifting capacity of the truck at the connection point.
6 Information for use
6.1 General
Information (or use shall comply with EN 1459-1:2017+A1:2020 and EN 1459-2:2015+A1:2018, as applicable. In addition, the following requirements apply.

Instruction handbook shall include at least the following:
a) information on the potential hazards associated with the suspended load, including but not limited to dynamic effects, additional effects of wind, visibility associated with boom position, and travel speed exceeding walking speed (i.e. > 4 km/h);
b) where applicable, the permissible gradient for handling a freely suspended load during pick and cariy operation;
c) when stationary, to handle a freely suspended load only when the truck chassis Is level;
d) where applicable, information on restraining the load;
e) If provided, the identification of suitable tether points on the truck by marking In accordance with symbol ISO 7000:20 19, n. 2069;
f) information indicating that the lifting accessory and/or attachment is not intended for horizontal or sidc.pull of load and shall only be used according to the manufacturer’s specifications;
g) Information about the need to determine the most appropriate equipment and method to properly secure the load;
h) a warning to not attempt to use the truck frame-levelling, movement of the carnage or attachment to compensate for a swinging load;
i) information that the boom shall be retracted as far as practical during the pick and carry operation;
j) information on starting, travelling, turning and stopping to prevent the load from swinging;
k) a statement that the boom or carnage is provided with a point intended for connecting lifting accessories (e.g. shackle and hook) to the truck and information on its location;
l) type and characteristics of the lifting accessory(ies) intended to be connected with the connection point for lifting accessories:
m) a warning/information that it is forbidden to have a load on the lifting point when there is another load on the forks or on any other interchangeable equipment or tool.
ltems a) to m) where applicable may be added to the relevant load chart for pick and carry operations.6.3 Load chart
6.3.1 Load chart for lifting attachments
For each combination truck and lifting attachment, the load chart for suspended loads shall be providedaccording to 4.2.1.
6.3.2 Load chart for connection point for lifting accessories
The truck shall be fitted with a load chart showing the actual load lifting capacities in the connection pointat different boom angles and reach.
6.3.3 Marking
The maximum load lifting capacity of the truck at the connection point shall be clearly and permanentlymarked in proximity of the connection point, according to 4.3.3.
This European Standard has been prepared under a Commission’s standardization request M/396 Mandate to CEN and CENELEC for Standardisation in the field of machinery to provide one voluntary means of conforming to essential requirements of Directive 2006/42/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2006 on machinery, and amending Directive 95/16/EC (recast).
Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union under that Directive, compliance with the normative clauses of this standard given in Table ZA.1 confers, within the limits of the scope of this standard, a presumption of conformity with the corresponding essential requirements of that Directive and associated EFTA regtilations.
