5.1.9.4 Level
The Level field specifics the number of hops from the STA that sends MMeDiscoverNodeList packets to the
CCo.
5.1.9.5 MAC Address
The MAC Address field specifies the MAC address of the STA that sends MMeDiseoverNodeList packets.
5.1.9.6 CCO MAC Address
The CCO MAC Address field specifics the CCO MAC address of the network.
5.1.9.7 Phase
The Phase field specifies the phase line to which the STA sending \IMeL)iscoverNodeList packets belongs. The values of the Phase field refer to 5.1.1.3.
5.1.9.8 Proxy Channel Quality
The Proxy Channel Quality field specifics the channel quality evaluated by the STA that receives packets from its PCO. The STA refers to the STA that sends MMeDiseoverNodeList packets. The unit of this field is the signal•to•noise ratio SNR).
5.1.9.9 Proxy Communication Rate
The Proxy Communication Rate field specifies the upl ink and downlink communication success rate between
the STA sending MMeDiscoverNodeList packets and its PCO. The unit of this field is the percentage 5.1.9.10 Proxy Down Communication Rate
The Proxy Down Communication Rate field specifies the communication success rate at which the STA receives packets from itsThe STA refers to the STA that sends MMcDiscoverNodeList packets. The unit of this field is the percentage.
5.1.9.11 STA Number
The STA Number field specifies the number of STAs in MMeDiseoserNodeList packets sent by an STA.
5.1.9.12 Up Route Entry Number
The Up Route Entiy Number field specifies the number of routing entries from the STA sending MMeDiscoverNodeList packets to the CCO. A maximum of four muting entries is supported.
5.2.1 CCO network behaviors
After the CCO is powered on, it starts the timer for listening to the neighboring network and listens to inter-
network coordination frames to check whether there is a neighboring network.
If the CCO receives an inter-network coordination frame from the neighboring network during the listening period, the CCO performs coordination with the neighboring network. After successful coordination, the CCO starts to send central beacons and starts network establishment.
If the CCO does not receive any inter-network coordination frame from the neighboring network during the listening period, the CCO sends central beacons at the conclusion of the listening period.
The CCO shall allocate TDMA and CSMA tirneslots in central beacons. The TDMA tirnesiot is used by the
CCO, PCO, or STA to send beacons; the CSMA tirneslot is used by level- I (see 5.1.2.4) STAs surrounding the
CCO send MMeAssocReq packets to the CCO, or are used by the CCO to send MMeAssocCnf packets and
MMeAssocGatherlnd packets.
If level-i STAs request to connect to the network, the CCO shall use the whitelist to authenticate the
STAs. The CCO then can encapsulate the MMeAssocReq packet result in MMeAssocCnf packets or
MMeAssocGatherlnd packets and send the packets to the STAs.
After level-I STAs connect to the network, the CCO shall allocate beacon timeslots to allow newly connected level-I STAs to send discovery beacons. Discovery beacons are used to trigger level-2 (see 5.1.2.4) STAs surrounding level- I STAs to send MMeAssocReq packets. After level-2 STAs connect to the network, the CCO shall allocate beacon timeslots to allow newly connected level-2 STAs to send discovery beacons. Discovery beacons are used to trigger level-3 (see 5.1 .2.4) STAs surrounding level-2 STAs to send MMeAssocReq packets. This process is repeated until the STAs of the highest level that are far away from the CCO connect to the network. The CCO is at level 0, and the highest level of STA is 15.
During network establishment, the CCO shall allocate beacon timeslots to each proxy STA at each beacon period so that all PCOs send proxy beacons. The proxy beacons carry the timeslot allocations in central beacons, which receive notifications for each PCO andSTA.
